11TH HOUR SOLUTIONS AND MIRACLES
11TH HOUR SOLUTIONS AND MIRACLES
Mat 20:1-10 KJV 1 For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard. 2 And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard. 3 And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace, 4 And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way. 5 Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise. 6 And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle? 7 They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive. 8 So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first. 9 And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny. 10 But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny.
This parable occurs only in Matthew, and is called forth by Peter’s question in Mat 19:27. The word “for” shows that this chapter should have been connected with the preceding. The parable was spoken expressly to illustrate the sentiment in the last verse of that chapter: “Many that are first shall be last, and the last shall be first.”
The kingdom of heaven means here the church, including, perhaps, its state here and hereafter. See the notes at Mat 3:2. It has reference to rewards, and the meaning may be thus expressed: “Rewards shall be bestowed in my kingdom, or on my followers, in the same manner as they were by a certain householder – in such a way that the last shall be equal to the first, and the first last.”
The man went to the place where workers gathered at the market place and some men were whiling away time and so he asked them why they were not doing something. They answered him that no man has employed them or give them anything to do, so, he asked them to go into his vineyard for a penny per day work.
Later in the day he came again and saw some other people still floating around, he asked them the same question on why were they not doing anything and they answered in the like manner so he engaged them.
When it was eleventh hour, just one hour before the closing of the day’s work, he came around and saw some still hanging around there. He asked them the same question and they answered in the same manner that no one has employed them so he asked them to go into his vineyard.
The amazing thing was that when they all gathered together to receive their respective wages the man gave each one of them the same amount irrespective of the number of hours worked. Those that started very early go the same amount with the people that just worked only one hour.
That was an eleventh hour miracle. It is coming your way in Jesus’ name.
11th hour miracle is when all hope is lost
The latest possible moment
The latest possible time before it is too late
The 11th hour is synonymous with high time, just in time, the last moment zero hour.
It is the last possible moment for doing something: to change plans at the eleventh hour.
11th hour miracle is when there is no more expectation of joy
The 11th hour miracle is when expectation is totally disappointing.
11th hour miracle is when we ask question whether it can still work or not
11th hour is just one to the closing of business, one hour to midnight and the day will be over. It is the period when labourers are looking upward too.
But here is the good news that sometimes God shows up at the eleventh hour just as the man we read in the account. He came just one hour to the closing time when the unengaged workers would have been thinking of calling it quits but that was the time he showed up. God will show up for you in Jesus name.
The householder went out four times previously, early in the morning, third hour, sixth hour and ninth hour and at 11th hour which was the fifth time.
The third hour] Nine o’clock in the morning. The sixth hour] Twelve o’clock. Ninth hour-three o’clock in the afternoon. Eleventh] Five o’clock in the evening, when there was only one hour before the end of the Jewish day, which, in matters of labour, closed at six
11the hour is the hour of grace where you get what you don’t deserve, what you have not laboured for or qualified for. This is the period that others have laboured and you went into their labour to eat and rest. This is your story in Jesus’ name.

THE WIDOW OF ZAREPHATH
1Ki 17:12 KJV And she said, As the LORD thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.
It was the last meal, there was no hope of getting any other one. The woman said once they ate the meal, they were going to die. But it was at that point the man of God showed up. May the helpers show up for you in Jesus name.
What happened when she obeyed the word of Elijah?
1Ki 17:15-16 KJV 15 And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days. 16 And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Elijah.
When all hope is lost, God shows up. May that same God show up for you in Jesus name.
Luk 5:4-7 KJV 4 Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. 5 And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. 6 And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake. 7 And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.
Peter and his companions were in the fishing job and had worked all night when there was greater expectation of catching fishes but ala, they caught nothing that very day. By morning when all hope was lost and they were washing their nets, the Lord Jesus showed up and used Peter’s boats for preaching.
When He was done, He wanted to compensate Peter so He asked him to launch into the deep. This is when Peter made his complaint of frustration and disappointment. They came to the same river they had been fishing, came at the right time of the day but despite all their labours and efforts, they caught nothing. After this encounter the yoke of labouring in vain is broken in Jesus’ name.
Peter however said notwithstanding he will launch the nets according to the spoken word of Jesus. He did and caught so much fish that their boat and that of the companion who came to help them began to sink.
After this encounter there shall be so much abundance for everyone here in Jesus name.
Experience of the mariners and Paul
Act 27:20-24 KJV 20 And when neither sun nor stars in many days appeared, and no small tempest lay on us, all hope that we should be saved was then taken away. 21 But after long abstinence Paul stood forth in the midst of them, and said, Sirs, ye should have hearkened unto me, and not have loosed from Crete, and to have gained this harm and loss. 22 And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man’s life among you, but of the ship. 23 For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve, 24 Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee.
When all hope of survival was lost; God showed up at the last minute, that was an 11th hour miracle.
How to receive the eleventh hour miracle
1. Stay there, don’t pack off. The workers were still hopeful even when they knew that it was just one hour to the closing time, they didn’t go home but they decided to stay.
2.Obey the word. Mary the mother of the redeemer said whatsoever He tells you to do, do it. There is no argument, contemplating and consideration of what is said,
3. Act. The workers went into work immediately, Peter launched into the deep and he caught from the same river he had been trying before throughout the night.
4. Be hopeful and be expectant. Faith is the substance of things hoped for. Faith has no substance if there is no hope. Hope is a confident expectation of good things. Always be expectant and hopeful.
Don’t give up, stay put. It will come to pass.
Heb 10:35-37 KJV 35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. 36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. 37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.
It is never too late, those workers were not there at the first hour, 3rd, 6th and 9th hour. Even though they came late and it was already late in the evening, they still got engaged. It is never too late Sir.
Be patient like those workers that waited till the last hour of the day. How long are you going to wait? In all honesty I don’t know but verse 37 says, he that shall come will come. Your blessing shall come, your expectation is coming, breakthrough, marriage, business is coming in Jesus name.
The 11th hour reminds us that even if God does not come through till the last minute, He will be there before it is too late.
Expect an 11th hour miracle. Eleventh hour miracles happen suddenly for those that have lost hope or people that have started losing faith as a result of unanswered prayers.
If you want to receive Jesus as your Lord and saviour. You want to become a child of God and be born again, then raise your hands up where you are for prayers.
Prayer of salvation: Father, I come to you, I am sorry for my sin, forgive me all my sins. Today I believe Jesus died to save me and He was resurrected for my justification. Jesus, I made you my Lord. I believe I am born again. Thank you for saving me.
Prayers
Oh God of eleventh hour, remember me for good in this dying month of the year, in the name of Jesus.
Oh God of eleventh hour, give me an eleventh hour miracle this month in the name of Jesus.
I speak unto the gates of November, lift up your heads that I Felix may enter into uncommon favour in the name of Jesus.
Power of idleness and stagnation die in the name of Jesus
Umbrella of darkness preventing me from rain of favour, catch fire in the name of Jesus.
Rain of unmerited favour fall upon my life suddenly this month in Jesus name.
Every power that has swallowed my blessings since January, vomit them and die in the name of Jesus.
