CONCEPTION-A PREREQUISITE TO BRINGING FORTH

Grasses, Herbs and Trees
Gen 1:11-12 KJV 11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. 12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
Moving creatures-Fowls
Gen 1:20-21 KJV 20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. 21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
Living creatures-Animals
Gen 1:24 KJV And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
The Lord spoke to the sources of the intending creatures He wanted
When He wanted to create ma, He spoke to Himself.
He commanded them to bring forth things as we read.
Psa 148:5 KJV Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created.
Psa 33:6 KJV By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.
Psa 33:9 KJV For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.
The Hebrew word for brought forth” is “yatsa”̂to go out, come out, exit, go forth
to go or come out or forth, depart, to go forth (to a place), to go forward, proceed to (to or toward something), to come or go forth (with purpose or for result), to come out of, to cause to go or come out, bring out, lead out, to bring out of, to lead out, to deliver, to be brought out or forth
The picture of the word is that of something coming out from where it is kept. If something is not there, i cant say come out. Either it is there physically or spiritually but i cannot speak vaguely and ask something to come out of nothing.
My question is how did they get there? How were they created? How were they formed?
As I study the Bible I find out some clues.
Gen 1:2 KJV And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
The Hebrew word for “moved” is rachaph”
- to grow soft, relax, to hover, to brood ; by implication to be relaxed: – flutter, move, shake.
- Moved “merachepheth”, was brooding over; for the word expresses that tremulous motion made by the hen while either hatching her eggs or fostering her young. It probably signifies the communicating a vital or prolific principle to the waters. As the idea of incubation, or hatching an egg, is implied in the original word. It signifies to make a tremulous or fluttering motion, such as that of an eagle fluttering over her nest.
The Spirit of God moved—literally, continued brooding over it, as a fowl does, when hatching eggs.
And the Spirit of God moved or hovered over, f and hatched out the creature, as the hen doth her chickens; or as the eagle fluttereth over her young, to provoke them to flight. Deu 32:11 Or as by a like operation, this same Holy Spirit formed
the child Jesus in the Virgin’s womb, in that wonderful “overshadowing” Luk 1:35 . The Chaldee here hath it, “The Spirit breathed”; and David saith the same. Psa 33:6.
The point is that the Spirit deposited things into the mass of water and earth when God later came to call out and ask the various sources to bring what has been deposited into them.
It was the same principle that formed the body of the Lord Jesus.
Luk 1:35 KJV And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
The Greek word used for “shall overshadow” is “episkiazō. It means to throw a shadow upon, to envelop in a shadow, to overshadow, to cast a shade upon, that is, (by analogy) to envelop in a haze of brilliancy; figuratively to invest with preternatural influence: – overshadow.
The power, the miracle-working power, of the Most High shall overshadow thee, to accomplish this purpose, and to protect thee from danger. As there is a plain allusion to the Spirit of God brooding over the face of the waters, to render them prolific, Ge 1:2,
After nine months, that operation was described this way:
Luk 2:6-7 KJV 6 And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. 7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
The point I am making is that before you experience “bringing forth” there must be conception. Without conception nothing can be brought forth.
Even sin is first conceived before it is done physically.
Jas 1:13-15 KJV 13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: 14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. 15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
Conceive is to clasp, that is, seize (arrest, capture); specifically to conceive (literally or figuratively); by implication to aid: – catch, conceive, help, take.
Lust is here considered as a harlot who seduces the will, and sin is the consequence of this unhallowed alliance. Sin is the child of our corrupt passions; it has its origin in our evil desires; it is the outcome of inward depravity. First, there is evil desire in the heart, and then by the will yielding to that evil desire there is sin in life.
So it is not what the other person does or did that makes you fall into sin but it was the lust in you that enticed you till you conceived that sin and eventually committed the act. When someone says ‘I don’t know what came over me’ or ‘it is the work of the devil’, we know it is not true. They conceived those things before the real act.
Amazingly, as sin is conceived so also good things must be conceived too.
Whether positive or negative, you need to conceive before bringing forth. What are you going to conceive?
What you need is to conceive. Success, promotion at work, upliftment in business, overcoming challenges, victories, healing, deliverance, prosperity, abundance, knowledge, wisdom, academic breakthrough, etc.
Job 32:8 KJV But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.
How do you conceive of good things?
The Holy Spirit needs to do what He did in Gen 1: 2 and in Lk 1: 35. When He broods over you, He will deposit that which is consistent with the will and purpose of God in you. Then you can bring it forth.
May you receive the ability to conceive, the grace to conceive.
Heb 11:11 KJV Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.
Under the new covenant, the process of conception and delivery can be FasTrack. That is, it can happen in one day. This is what the Bible says
Isa 66:8 KJV Who hath heard such a thing? Who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.
Months and years are required before the earth would be covered with its luxuriant and beautiful productions But here would be an event as remarkable as if the earth should bring forth its productions in a single day.
In this case, contrary to the usual growth of the nations by degrees, Israel starts into maturity at once.
When the Holy Spirit impart, overshadow, brood, hover, rest on you, you will bring forth.
This was Paul utmost desire
2Co 12:9 KJV And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
The Greek word used for “may rest” is “episkenoo”
It is a compound word: ‘epi’ and ‘skenoo’. ‘Epi’ means upon or on while ‘skenoo’ means dwell or tabernacle
- to fix a tent or habitation on, of the power of Christ descending upon one, working within him and giving him help, to tent upon, that is, (figuratively) abide with: – rest upon
That the power of Christ may rest upon me. That it may overshadow me as a tent, or tabernacle; affording me shelter, protection, safety, and rest
May rest upon me: to fix a tent upon, here upon Paul himself by a bold metaphor, as if the Shechinah of the Lord was overshadowing him (Lu 9:34), the power (Dunamis) of the Lord Jesus.
Paul also said be filled with the Holy Spirit.
Act 2:4 KJV And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
It was after they were filled, impregnated with the Holy Spirit that they were able to speak with other tongues.
When the Spirit rested on Elisha, his mockers bowed to him
2Ki 2:15 KJV And when the sons of the prophets which were to view at Jericho saw him, they said, The spirit of Elijah doth rest on Elisha. And they came to meet him, and bowed themselves to the ground before him.
If you read the previous verses, these same people were mocking him earlier that his master would be taken away from him that day. But when the power rested on him, it shut their mouth and turned insults to results.
Samson would have been disgraced and captured like a common criminal but something happened when the Philistine came on him:
Jdg 15:14 KJV And when he came unto Lehi, the Philistines shouted against him: and the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and the cords that were upon his arms became as flax that was burnt with fire, and his bands loosed from off his hands.
Extra-ordinary things are accomplished when the Spirit comes upon men.
Jesus had said that out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water but this sequent to receiving the Holy Spirit first. Jn 7: 37-39
There is a place where the Holy Spirit lives in us for sanctification and to commune the love of God to you but there is another dimension when He comes on you for service, miracles, blessings, prosperity, advancement, etc. There will be physical evidence when this happens.
