How to correct anomalies

There are many things that we would like them to be like how they ought to be. We would also like to make amendments to things that are going on in our lives. How do we make amendments? How do we correct things?

Heb 11:3 KJV Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

He has already defined faith in verse 1 as the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

He said it is through this faith that the words were framed by the word of God

We would like to analyze that statement. The Greek word they used for ” world” is ” aions” which means age, the way things go in this life, period, etc.

The Greek word they used for ” framed” there is ” katatizo” our KJV used one of the many synonymous available to render, i.e. to fit, sound, complete

to mend (what has been broken or rent), to repair

to fit out, equip, put in order, arrange, adjust

to fit or frame for oneself, prepare

ethically: to strengthen, perfect, complete, make one what he ought to be

to complete thoroughly, that is, repair (literally or figuratively) or adjust: – fit, frame, mend, (make) perfect (-ly join together), prepare, restore

And the last word I will talk about is the word used for ” word” is “Rhema” Rhema is different from. Logos. Rhema is a specific word to a specific person about a specific thing or purpose.

In order words the worlds were amended, repaired, made complete, changed, repaired by the Rhema of God. This place is talking about what took place in Genesis chapter one.

Gen 1:1-2 KJV 1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

Bible scholars believed that God couldn’t have made a world that is empty and void and waste. Something happened between verses one and two.

This is what Isaiah said:

Isa 45:18 KJV For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.

So, the question is what or how did the earth become void, waste, and empty?

Eze 28:17 KJV Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.

Ezekiel said that Satan was cast down. So, he was probably the one that destroyed the first earth created, and judgment came upon the earth. However, we see God begins the work of repopulating, repairing the earth.  How He did it is what we can learn from.

Satan if given opportunity can steal, kill and destroy things John 10:10a

In Gen 1:3 the Spirit was hovering on the surface of the deep and it was then that God began to speak forth. We can change things by speaking forth too, but it must be the Rhema of God.

Why is it that many people quoted Mk 11:23 if you shall say up to this mountain?

Mar 11:23 KJV For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

They actually say words, but the mountain is not moving. The reason is that what we are speaking is the logos of God. It is a general knowledge, body of truth but it’s okay but it can change things until it becomes the Rhema which is the spoken word of God.

How do we get the Rhema?

You must have the faith of God and not necessarily the common, saving faith

Mar 11:22 KJV And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

This is rendered “have the faith of God”. That is God’s kind of faith. How does this faith come from?

Rom 10:17 KJV So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

The “word” there is “Rhema” Faith comes by hearing the word of God.

As we study the word and meditate on it, especially the words that relate to our needs, the Holy Spirit will hover us and deposit that specific word for or concerning that situation. That word is only specific for that specific situation only at that particular time. He will quicken the word needed into our hearts.

With that, we can repair, amend, change, repair and complete whatever has been tampered with.

Let me give an example of a logo and Rhema of God.

General knowledge

Mat 28:19 KJV Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Based on this word and other places that talk about great commission, we can preach the gospel anywhere, anytime and to anyone. But experience has shown that we are not always successful. Why? Sometimes the Holy Spirit may want us to be in a particular place and speak to a particular person or group of people. I will give two examples.

Philip was in Samaria holding a crusade when God asked him to go to the desert. He went and met an Ethiopian Eunuch

Act 8:26 KJV And the angel of the Lord spoke unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert.”

Act 8:34-35 KJV 34 And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man? 35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.

Another instance was Apostle Paul. He wanted to preach the gospel in Asia but was prevented by the Spirit.

Act 16:6-9 KJV 6 Now when they had gone throughout Phrygia and the region of Galatia, and were forbidden of the Holy Ghost to preach the word in Asia, 7 After they were come to Mysia, they assayed to go into Bithynia: but the Spirit suffered them not. 8 And they passing by Mysia came down to Troas. 9 And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us.

Once we have the word, we can change anything, correct anomalies. All we need to do is to be patient till we get the needed word. God waited until the Spirit hovered on the deep then He spoke. If we wait until we are under the influence of the Spirit, then our words will be creative, changing things, and repairing things.

Instances of people speaking after the Holy Spirit has inspired them:

Act 13:9 KJV Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him,

This account took place when Elymas was blocking the gospel. The word filled with Holy Ghost 8s is very important. First aorist (ingressive) passive participle of the genitive case. A special influx of power to meet this emergency.

Paul then made pronouncement on that man, and this is what Bible says:

Act 13:11 KJV And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand.

Our words will carry power when we speak under the influence of the Holy Spirit. When we speak faith filled words.
