The capacity to bring forth
The grasses, herbs and trees
Gen 1:11-12 KJV 11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. 12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
Lives in the water
Gen 1:20 KJV And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
Lives on land
Gen 1:24 KJV And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
Genesis 1:11
And God said, let the earth bring forth grass,…. Which had been impregnated by the Spirit of God that moved upon it
The law of nature for reproduction is that there has to be copulation/ conception, impregnation, gestation period and bringing forth. So before we talk of bringing forth, there has to be copulation and impregnation.
If this be the case, then why was God giving such commands in verse 11, 20 and 24?
When the Bible says in verse 11 that the earth should bring forth, why was that possible? If you understand what i just said that the process of reproduction involves processes and the last part is bringing forth. When did copulation take place and what was the earth carrying that it’s been asked to bring out?
This will take us back to Gen 1
Gen 1:1-2 KJV 1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
The water covered everywhere, the ground was not seen, the water from heaven and the one on earth were joined together. Then God separated them with a firmament. Commanded the water up and down. Then the water on earth were gathered together to form sea and oceans while the dry land became the earth,
The Hebrew word they used for “moved” there is “rachaph” It means to hover; to brood ; by implication to be relaxed: – flutter, move, shake.
The best illustration is that of a fowl that is laying egg. he will brood over it for many days until it’s ready to hatch the eggs then the chicks will come forth.
In order words the Holy Spirit hovered or brooded over the earth and deposited everything in it. He is the agent of creation.
So when God began the work of creation, He began to call them out. He called out what the Holy Spirit had brooded on the waters and on earth. This is the reason He spoke to them. He spoke them forth and the earth brought them out.
When He wanted herbs, He spoke to the source. When He wanted animals, He spoke to the source that was carrying it to the ground. When He wanted fish He spoke the waters. When He wanted a man He spoke to Himself. Gen 1: 26.
Another illustration is in the birth of Jesus. The angel visited Mary and told her the good news but Mary wanted to know how that would be possible. Here is the angel reply that buttresses this fact.
Luk 1:34 KJV 34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?
The Greek word for “know” is the same Hebrew word for “knew” in Gen 4: 1 that Adam knew his wife Eve. It means to have intimacy, physical relationship or sexual intercourse. So Mary was telling the angel that how will she be able to bring forth when she had not known, had sex or intimacy with a man?
This is the reply of the angel and it is mind blowing.
Luk 1: 35-36 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. 36 And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.
What is a shadow? A dark image projected onto a surface where light (or other radiation) is blocked by the shade of an object.
Shadows are formed when an opaque object or material is placed in the path of the rays of the light. The opaque material does not allow light to pass through it. The light rays that go past through the edges of the material make an outline for the shadow.
But this time around it is not a shadow that has been formed but has now been cast upon.
The Greek word used for “overshadow” is episkiazo”̄
It means to throw a shadow upon, to envelop in a shadow, to overshadow,; to cast a shade upon, that is, (by analogy) to envelop in a haze of brilliancy; figuratively to invest with preternatural influence: – overshadow.
The Holy Spirit cast Himself as shadow over Mary.so as to be invested with preternatural influence.
Meaning of preternatural
– Beyond or not conforming to what is natural or according to the regular course of things; strange.
– Having an existence outside of the natural world.
Synonyms: paranormal, supernatural, unnatural
It is the same analogy for moved over the waters in Gen 1:2
Jesus was born the same way every other man was born but the difference was that the Holy Spirit took all the words spoken through all the ages and made them into spora. It is from the word spora that spermatozoa is gotten
Therefore, before conception takes place the Holy Spirit releases, fertilizes and inputs into the earth, Mary. That is why the angel said that the Holy thing that shall be born of you shall be called the Son of God.
The word became flesh and dwell among us.
The same way the Lord Jesus was conceived was also the same way a new creation was formed.
1Pe 1:23 KJV Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
The Holy Spirit has deposited things inside of us and it is about responsibility to give birth to them.
When the power of the highest overshadow, hover and brooded over Mary, she conceived and brought forth. What Mary imagined to be impossible became possible.
When that same power, the power of the highest, overshadows you, there will be holy copulation and impregnation and then you will bring forth. You will bring forth abundantly and plentiful
What happens when the power of the highest overshadows you?
The same thing that happened when He hovered the waters and overshadowed Mary. He will impregnate you. Impregnates you with ideas, powers, grace, favour, ability, He makes it impossible to become possible, heals your body, changes conditions around you, changes your circumstances.
When He came upon Samson, he became powerful, when He came upon Saul he was turned into another man, when he came upon prophets they prophesied, when He came upon apostles they spoke with other tongues.
Desire the overshadowing of the Holy Spirit. He will incubate you.
1. The life of God is made manifest in your body
2Co 4:10 KJV Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
The ability of God will start producing effects. The zoe life of God.
When He says let the earth bring forth, the earth is not limited to soil, ground, land but also region, nations, space, environment and individual. We humans have the same mineral components as the earth has.There is magnesium in your body, it is also in the earth. God told Adam that you were made from earth and you will return to it.
Gen 3:19 KJV In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
We can speak to the earth and it will hear us.
Jer 22:29 KJV O earth, earth, earth, hear the word of the LORD.
But as a new creation, we are not just body, there is a part of us that is not of Adam. That is our spirit. Our spirit can dominate our body such that the life of God in our body can be released and start influencing the body.
Your body or your earth can be commanded to bring forth ideas, wisdom, knowledge, and understanding beyond the realm of ordinary.
Prayers
The earth has ability to vomit out
Lev 18:25 KJV And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants.
Every evil power operating on your earth, let the earth vomit them out in Jesus name
The earth can swallow too, eat up.
Num 16:30-33 KJV 30 But if the LORD make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked the LORD. 31 And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground clave asunder that was under them: 32 And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods. 33 They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation.
Every power assigned to oppose you, ridicule you, let the earth swallow them
The earth can also bring forth
Gen 1:12 KJV And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
Gen 1:24 KJV And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
When God said let the earth bring forth, it was a command. We speak to our earth to bring forth not grasses, herbs or trees but fruitfulness and it should also bring forth abundantly
Deu 28:11 KJV And the LORD shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers to give thee.
The earth can bring forth what is not planted
The herb yielding seed; this is distinct from the former; that denotes herbage in general, which grows up of itself without being sown or manured, and is the food of beasts; this in particular, herbs and plants for the use of man, which yield a seed which either falling from it shows itself again, or is taken from it
Jesus told His disciples that I sent you into other people’s labour.
Joh 4:38 KJV I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours.
It is not everything you must labour for, that is why it is called favour and grace. Command manifestation of favour and grace on your earth.
