THE LORD SHALL INCREASE YOUR SPEED
Speed is define as the state of moving quickly or the capacity for rapid motion; rapidity. After this prayer service the Lord shall increase your speed, He will double your speed. Whatever has been slowing you down before now will give way and you will gain acceleration in Jesus name

Joh 20:1-8 KJV 1 The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre. 2 Then she runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and saith unto them, They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him. 3 Peter therefore went forth, and that other disciple, and came to the sepulchre. 4 So they ran both together: and the other disciple did outrun Peter, and came first to the sepulchre. 5 And he stooping down, and looking in, saw the linen clothes lying; yet went he not in. 6 Then cometh Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulchre, and seeth the linen clothes lie, 7 And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself. 8 Then went in also that other disciple, which came first to the sepulchre, and he saw, and believed.
The text we read was about the resurrection of the Lord Jesus after He had been in the grave for three days and three night. But after that He came back to live, the grave could not hold Him captive. As i pray for you now, whatever has been considered dead in your life is coming back to life in Jesus name. I declare life is coming to your marriage, it is coming to your business, it is coming to your home. This month whatever is dead in your body is coming back to life in Jesus name.
When the Lord resurrected, Mary Magdalene was at the tomb very early in the morning but she couldn’t find the body of Jesus. Why she was perplexed an wondering what could have happened, she ran to where the disciples were and informed them that she can’t find the Lord again.
The Bible says the disciples were amazed at her word and two of them Peter and John ran together to go to the sepulcher to see things for themselves.
The Bible says the two of them started together at the same time, they were heading to the same place but something happened along the way, John ran quickly, vigorously and smartly and came ahead of Peter. The Bible says he outrun Peter and he came first to the sepulcher.
Can i pray for you, there are people that you have started with, you started project at the same time with them, you started school at the same time with them, you started business at the same time with them but after this encounter, you shall surpass them, you will outrun them.
By this anointing you will outrun your competitors, you will outrun them in Jesus name.
What could have made John to outrun Peter even though they started together at the same time? Here are possible answers:
John was younger than Peter in age
John was therefore more energetic and youthful to run
John had more zeal than Peter that is guilty ridden because of his earlier denial of Jesus.
In order word John had several advantages than Peter and he took advantage of them. In life there are many people that have certain privilege, talents, natural endeavour, abilities, people at corridor of power, they have people in government that can assist them. Some are well connected with the powerful people. Some are well educated and with their higher degrees they have one advantage over other people with lower degree. Some are very strong in body stature and so they can easily take some jobs that slim and skinny people can not take. Many are naturally endowed and it is working for them.
For some the place of their birth gives them advantage. They said they are British citizen, they said they are indigene and so they are entitled to be considered first in case of employment. The lists goes on and on.
These make them to have speed in life like John, They used their advantages to get to places first. They arrived first ahead of their mates, church members, neighbours and colleagues.
May the Lord reposition you with great advantages in life in Jesus name.
My question is this how about people who did not have these privileges and advantages? Is there any hope for them at all?
I found out from the Bible that God can do all things. He can promote you ahead of many people that have natural and secular opportunities at their disposal. You and others might have started at the same time and they have gone far ahead of you, you can still meet them, in fact you can overtake them. Overtaking is allowed in the kingdom.
In 1King 19, there was a great incident there that is worthy of note.
1Ki 18:44-46 KJV 44 And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man’s hand. And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down, that the rain stop thee not. 45 And it came to pass in the mean while, that the heaven was black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. And Ahab rode, and went to Jezreel. 46 And the hand of the LORD was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.
The event referred to here was after the contest at Mount Carmel where the Baal worshipers were disgraced and all of them were destroyed. Every power challenging your blessing shall be disgraced today in Jesus name.
The Baal worshipers had cried for fire from morning till evening but their gods could not answer them. This month may you not be put to shame in Jesus name, may you not be disappointed in life in Jesus name.
After they have tried and they failed, Elijah took over and fire came down. This day the Lord will show Himself strong on your behalf in Jesus name. Elijah was highly celebrated and God’s name was glorified. Before the end of this year, you will have cause to to celebrate in Jesus name.
In verse 44, Elijah sent message to Ahab to run quickly to Jezreel so that rain will not meet the king. The Bible says that the king rode on his horse. Horse is built for speed and racing. It can run faster than many animals, it has strength. Above all, the king horse was very special, strong and tough. Ahab had all these advantage and it is obvious he will get to Jezreel before rain will start.
I pray for you again, may God gives you advantage in life. It is good to have such connections and opportunities.
In verse 45 rain had started as Elijah had prophesied, how will Elijah get to town? How will he avoid been soaked with rain? He had no horse, there was no means of riding like King Ahab.
There are many of us that are in verse 45 of our lives. Many have gone ahead of us in things of life. They married ahead of us, they have cars ahead of us, they have started business ahead of us, their privileges and advantages have made them to run ahead like Ahab and we seems to be stranded in life, no means, no ways at all.
But i have good news for you this morning. Elijah was stranded and rain has started. What did Elijah do?
Something happened in verse 46, the Bible says the hand of the Lord was on Elijah. Elijah girded up his loins and ran too. Here is supernatural power of God. It came upon Elijah and he too started running and the Bible says he ran ahead and got to Jezreel before the king that rode on horse arrived. Praise God.
When the hand of God comes upon you, you are enabled
When the hands of God comes on you you are energized
When the hands of God comes on you your speed is increased
When the hands of god comes on you it doesn’t matter how long they have gone ahead of you, you will meet them, you will overtake them and you will outrun them.
The hand of the Lord, or, as somebody says, “the spirit of strength”, came upon Elijah, and he girded up his loins, that is, tucked up his long garments in his girdle, and ran; and notwithstanding the advantage the king had by means of his chariot, the prophet reached Jezreel before him
He was so strengthened by God’s spirit that he ran faster than the chariot was able to run.
Ladies and gentlemen, we all need the super natural ability of God, we need to crave for the Holy Spirit, we need His anointing, power, enablement, His wisdom, His strength, His grace. When all these comes upon us, we will get there first, we will arrive first. The anointing will set you ahead of othes. The anointing will qualifies you.
