Light out of darkness

GOD COMMANDED LIGHT OF DARKNESS

Light is defined in numerous ways. It is said to be the natural agent that stimulates sight and makes things visible. light or visible light is commonly refers to electromagnetic radiation that can be detected by the human eye.

On the other hand, darkness, the polar opposite of brightness is understood as a lack of illumination or an absence of visible light.

Paul gives us one of the attributes of God when he was writing to the Corinthians:

2Co 4:6 KJV For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

Paul said that God commanded or that God spoke light out of darkness. What was Paul talking about? The incident he was referring to was in Gen 1:3

Gen 1:1-3 KJV 1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

God saw darkness everywhere, that was not what He wanted so God spoke what He wanted to see out by the word of command.

Rom 4:17 says that God called those things that be not as though they were. God did not focus on the thing that was which was darkness but He focused on the things that He wanted. He called ou what He needs.

There are many of us that we call those things that we don’t need because we see them every now and then rather we should call those things that be not as though they were.

God brought light out of darkness. Which means inside the darkness, there was light. The English people say darkness is absence of light. It is not true, in any darkness there is light there. This felixiology
What this passage is also saying is that God is able to bring good out of evil.
I give some instances in the Bible.

Jdg 14:14 KJV And he said unto them, Out of the eater came forth meat, and out of the strong came forth sweetness. And they could not in three days expound the riddle.

This was Samson giving out a riddle here to the men that came for his wedding, the incident actual happened some months back when he was coming with his parents to seek the hand of his wife in marriage. The story is in the preceding verses. A lion roared against him. Samson went after it and killed it with a bear hand.

Whatever is roaring against you shall perish in Jesus name.

They went for the ceremony and came back, when next they were going, Samson wanted to see the carcase of the lion but he saw something else.

Jdg 14:8 KJV And after a time he returned to take her, and he turned aside to see the carcase of the lion: and, behold, there was a swarm of bees and honey in the carcase of the lion.

He was expecting to see decay, maggot and rottenness but instead he saw honey and sweetness. How come? Where did swarm of bees came from? How did the intestine of Lion produces honey?

God that commanded light to shine out of darkness. There are many of us that has encountered eater, economic eater, sickness eater that has eaten our resources, our business, job but when you come back like Samson you will see sweetness, you will see flourishing and blossoming in Jesus name.

A woman went to see Elisha because the creditors had come to take away her son, Elisha asked her what she has in the house? She came from he house, she said she had nothing. Why will Elisha asked the poor woman what she has? it is because when God wants to change man’s life He uses what that man already has. Then the woman remembered something:

2Ki 4:2 KJV And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil.

When you read the story further, it was that same neglected and forgotten bottle of oil that changed her story. Hello ma, there is something in your house now, there is a miracle in your house now, there is a blessing in your home, look for it, present it and it will turn things around because God commanded light to shine out of darkness.
Paul was locked up in the prison, he was incarcerated and confined and there was no way the Gospel can go out of his mouth again. Every enemy thought it is finished with Paul. The same way they are thinking now about you, but this is the testimony of Paul.

Phi 1:12 KJV But I would ye should understand, brethren, that the things which happened unto me have fallen out rather unto the furtherance of the gospel;

What were the things that happened unto Paul, they were the things i have mentioned, he was shut in into prison and they thought that is the end of that praying and trouble man but here is the good news, it was while he was in the prison that we got the epistles, the letter to the Corinthians, 1st epistle to Timothy, we got Colossians, we got Ephesians, while he was in the prison.
That tells me very soon, your testimony is coming out in Jesus name.
Sometime people reproach us, they say nothing god can come out of our lives, they shook their heads at us, exactly what they were doing about Nazareth. When Nathaniel was told by Philip that they had seen the Messiah, Nathaniel reaction is stated in the Bible.

Joh 1:46 KJV And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see.

Very soon as i pray for you, they will come and see your traditional marriage, they will come and see your cars, your houses and your business in Jesus name.
What Nathaniel forgot was that long time ago Micah had prophesied this thing about the city.

Mic 5:2 KJV But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.

May i pray for somebody, things may be little now but if you don’t give up on God, out of it shall come up rulers and Governors.
That is why we should not look down on ourselves and curse ourselves, Jesus said on the last day of the feast something wonderful in John 7

Joh 7:38 KJV He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

He called it rivers which is plural, out of you shall come forth power, abilities, life, healing and gifts of Holy Ghost that will change lives and transform people, out of me and you. because God commanded light out of darkness.

Conclusion:
According to Physics, darkness is not absence of light but absence of visible light. So, although an object may appear dark, it is likely bright at a frequency that humans cannot perceive.” … I like “darkness is the absence of light.” Using that definition, then the answer has to be “no, because dark objects do not emit visible light.”
When they say darkness in Gen 1: 3, God saw beyond what human eyes could see at a higher frequency of electromagnetic wavelength. So God called that light out.
There is another frequency which is frequency of faith where faith is evidence of things not seeing. You may see darkness today but there is light there, all we have to d is to call out the light. God gave a command and light showed up.
Let there be light in your family now, light in your home now in Jesus name.
