Connected to be great

God destined His children to be great. May you be great this year in
Jesus name.
He destined us to be successful. May you be successful this year in
Jesus name. He destined us to be wealthy and healthy, may that be your lot in Jesus name.

Many are struggling to be great, they are struggling to be successful, they
are hustling and struggling to be wealthy in life. There are many children
of God that are having challenges in these areas of life. But I pray for
you, you will not struggle this year in Jesus name.

Gen 30:22-30 KJV 22 And God remembered Rachel, and God
hearkened to her, and opened her womb. 23 And she conceived,
and bare a son; and said, God hath taken away my reproach: 24 And
she called his name Joseph; and said, The LORD shall add to me
another son. 25 And it came to pass, when Rachel had born Joseph,
that Jacob said unto Laban, Send me away, that I may go unto mine
own place, and to my country. 26 Give me my wives and my
children, for whom I have served thee, and let me go: for thou
knowest my service which I have done thee. 27 And Laban said unto
him, I pray thee, if I have found favour in thine eyes, tarry: for I have
learned by experience that the LORD hath blessed me for thy sake.
28 And he said, Appoint me thy wages, and I will give it. 29 And he
said unto him, Thou knowest how I have served thee, and how thy
cattle was with me. 30 For it was little which thou hadst before I
came, and it is now increased unto a multitude; and the LORD hath
blessed thee since my coming: and now when shall I provide for
mine own house also?

The word of God is given to us to help us to be successful, great and
prosperous. It shows effortlessly ways of archiving that.
In the text we read in Genesis, Jacob had served Laban for many years.
He served for his two wives and served for added years too.
But he himself had nothing to show for it. All his years of labouring were
for another person. There are many children of God that are labouring for
others faithfully like that but you have nothing of your own, this year the
Lord will reward you.
So there was the argument between Jacob and his father in law. Laban
does not want Jacob to go and yet Jacob wanted to go.
Laban said something, he gave a testimony about Jacob. In verse 27. He
said he had learned by experience that God had blessed him because of
Jacob. In order words, Jacob’s coming to his house has brought
unprecedented wealth and abundance.
Jacob told Laban that Laban’s flock were few when he arrived, but ever
since he arrived, they have multiplied greatly. Laban was blessed. How?
He was connected to a carrier of blessing.
May i prophesy unto somebody, that this year you will be connected to
carriers of blessings in Jesus name.
Who is your companion, who is your close associates, who are your
friends and mentors, who do you intend to marry?
Proverb says he that walk with the wise shall be wise but a companion of
fool shall be punished.
The people you are closely associated with can make or mar you. People
that you are connected to intimately can determine whether you will be
struggling or you will be successful in your life.
There are people in life, they are not ordinary, they are carrier of blessing
and when you are connected to them, your life changes.
Jacob even though he was serving as a servant in the house of Laban,
yet he was a carrier of blessing, his father Isaac had blessed him. So
everywhere he goes, he goes with such blessing, anyone connected to
him, becomes automatically blessed.
This year such man shall come your way in Jesus name.
Joseph was sold into slavery by his brothers. He was sold to Portipher in
Egypt. He was a slave boy of about 17years old. But this is what Bible
has to say about Portipher.
Gen 39:1-5 KJV 1 And Joseph was brought down to Egypt; and
Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh, captain of the guard, an Egyptian,
bought him of the hands of the Ishmeelites, which had brought him
down thither. 2 And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a
prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the
Egyptian. 3 And his master saw that the LORD was with him, and
that the LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand. 4 And
Joseph found grace in his sight, and he served him: and he made
him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into his
hand. 5 And it came to pass from the time that he had made him
overseer in his house, and over all that he had, that the LORD
blessed the Egyptian’s house for Joseph’s sake; and the blessing of
the LORD was upon all that he had in the house, and in the field.
Because of Joseph, Portipher was blessed in the field and in the town,
this year your own Joseph shall be connected to you.
Portipher was not a Jew, he was not a worshipper of Jehovah and yet
when Joseph was connected to him, there was transfer of grace and
Portipher became blessed.
Today we talk about Lot in the Bible, Lot became who he was because of
Abraham, his flock became great because he was following Abraham,
Gen 13:5-6/KJV 5 And Lot also, which went with Abram, had flocks,
and herds, and tents. 6 And the land was not able to bear them, that
they might dwell together: for their substance was great, so that
they could not dwell together.
when he entered into trouble in Sodom, the Bible says God rescued Lot
because of Abraham. His connection to Abraham the blessed made him
to be blessed also.
Gen 19:29 And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of
the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the
midst of the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in the which
Lot dwelt.
People also suffered when they are wrongly connected, either by
business, marriage, jobs, etc.
Take for instance the story of Jonah, he was sent on message but he ran
away, boarded a ship and he caused problem for the people he was
travelling with. Hear what he himself said
Jonah 1:12 And he said unto them, Take me up, and cast me forth
into the sea; so shall the sea be calm unto you: for I know that for
my sake this great tempest is upon you.
I pray for every agent of destruction this year will not locate you in Jesus
name.
Compare this even with what happened to Paul in the New Testament.
When you travel and walk with the right people, people who carry
blessing. Paul was in a ship carrying over one hundred and seventy
people, they had issues for about fourteen days, all of them would have
been destroyed but for the sake of one man, they were rescued.
Act 27:22-24. 22 And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there
shall be no loss of any man’s life among you, but of the ship. 23
For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and
whom I serve, 24 Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought
before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with
thee.
The angel said I have given all that sail to Paul. That is because of Paul,
those people will be saved.
You know why? Paul was a blessing carrier, God had told him, he will get
to Rome, and there is nothing devil will do about it, even though storm
came, yet for Paul sake, the sailors were saved.
May I ask again who is your co travelers this year? Is it the same person
that you travelled with last two years or last year that at the end of the
day, you were like Jacob, you have nothing spiritually, physically or
emotionally? Are you looking for a carrier of blessing?
You cannot go far above your friends. People in the days of early church
testifies in Act about the Apostles that they had been with Jesus
Act 4:13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and
perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they
marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been
with Jesus.
If people that don’t have reference for Bible, they don’t go to church or
come for weekly activities are your friend, they will drag you down, you
will be like your friend and close companion, if you move with people that
don’t pray, they don’t work hard, they are busybodies in other people
affairs, you will be like them, your spiritual life will go down, look at
yourself closely and ask who are my friends, who is my best friend? Who
are my advisers? You can’t rise above your friends.
What are we to do?
Prayerfully seek your companion
Move with purposeful people
Check the life style of your companion
Are they carrier of blessing
Prayers
Every evil association around my life that will drag me down, I break them
in Jesus name
This year I receive divine connection
My father my father, connect me to my helper, connect me to destiny
helper in Jesus name
I am also an helper in life to somebody, Father wherever the person may
be, may I be connected to him now in Jesus name.
