GOD HAS REMEMBERED YOU
THE LORD HAS REMEMBERED YOU
Gen 8:1-12 KJV 1 And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters asswaged; 2 The fountains also of the deep and the windows of heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained; 3 And the waters returned from off the earth continually: and after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were abated. 4 And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat. 5 And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month: in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, were the tops of the mountains seen. 6 And it came to pass at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made: 7 And he sent forth a raven, which went forth to and fro, until the waters were dried up from off the earth. 8 Also he sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters were abated from off the face of the ground; 9 But the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned unto him into the ark, for the waters were on the face of the whole earth: then he put forth his hand, and took her, and pulled her in unto him into the ark. 10 And he stayed yet other seven days; and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark; 11 And the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf pluck off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth. 12 And he stayed yet other seven days; and sent forth the dove; which returned not again unto him any more.
In the text we read, Noah and the survivors of the flood were in the ship. They were the only survivors; every other living creature perished in the flood. I pray for you in the time of destruction may God single you out for protection and favour in Jesus name.
The rain had subsided but they were still in the boat. There was no way to come out but the Bible says that and God remembered Noah. Did God forget him before now? God did not forget Noah but all the Bible is saying is that it was time for God to do something about Noah and all the people that were in the ark.
I believe once again that this season is your time in Jesus name. God is about doing something concerning you. Because God remembered Noah, God began to work out how Noah would come out of the ark. I believe God is working out many things on your behalf. It will manifest in Jesus’ name.
What did God do to prove that He had remembered Noah?
And God remembered Noah.” He is said to remember him when he takes any step to deliver him from the waters. The several steps to this end are enumerated.
And God made a wind to pass over the earth] Such a wind as produced a strong and sudden evaporation
He stopped the windows of heaven, and the fountains of the deep.
He caused the waters to return from off the earth continually
Even though it took 150 days before the water eventually abated, it dried up. It was a work of time, a hundred and fifty days, before they were considerably abated.
Gen 8:15-18 KJV 15 And God spake unto Noah, saying, 16 Go forth of the ark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons’ wives with thee. 17 Bring forth with thee every living thing that is with thee, of all flesh, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth; that they may breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth. 18 And Noah went forth, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons’ wives with him:
Noah came out from that confinement. The Lord that remembers Noah has remembered someone today and you are coming out from every evil confinement in Jesus name.
God is in the business of remembering His people. He remembered Lot who was trapped in Sodom.
Gen 19:29 KJV And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in which Lot dwelt.
Are you praying for your children, spouse, loved ones and church members? Because Abraham had prayed and interceded for Sodom in chapter 18, God remembered Abraham and rescued Lot. For your sake God will deliver all the people you have been praying for in Jesus name.
God remembered Rachael
Gen 30:22-24 KJV 22 And God remembered Rachel, and God hearkened to her, and opened her womb. 23 And she conceived, and bare a son; and said, God hath taken away my reproach: 24 And she called his name Joseph; and said, The LORD shall add to me another son.
She had been married for many years, she even got married ahead of her sister but she could not give birth. She had cried unto her husband thinking he was the one that was restraining her.
Gen 30:1 KJV And when Rachel saw that she bore Jacob no children, Rachel envied her sister; and said unto Jacob, Give me children, or else I die.
Jacob rebuked her and directed her to God. She even tried to follow the pattern of Saran by handing over her maiden girl to Jacob, all because she wants a baby. But in the passage we read, when her time came, God remembered her. Today God has remembered you in Jesus name
Sometimes people that will trust, may forget us. Such was the case of Joseph and the chief Butler.
Gen 40:14 KJV But think on me when it shall be well with thee, and shew kindness, I pray thee, unto me, and make mention of me unto Pharaoh, and bring me out of this house:
But the Bible says:
Gen 40:23 KJV Yet did not the chief butler remember Joseph, but forgat him.
But God does not forget His own. When it was Joseph time to be released and fulfill destiny, God caused Pharaoh to have a dream which no one could interpret. This was what made the Chief Butler to remember now. God was at work.
Gen 41:9 KJV Then spake the chief butler unto Pharaoh, saying, I do remember my faults this day:
Gen 41:12 KJV And there was there with us a young man, an Hebrew, servant to the captain of the guard; and we told him, and he interpreted to us our dreams; to each man according to his dream he did interpret.
God will cause men to remember you for good in Jesus name.
Maybe you have been passing through a difficult time, God has not forgotten you. He remembered the children of Israel in their moment of agony.
Exo 2:24 KJV And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.
Exo 6:5 KJV And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I have remembered my covenant.
From that moment, he did everything to bring them out of Egypt. He sent a deliverer and caused many plaques to happen in Egypt for their sakes. God is fighting for you because He has remembered you in Jesus name. A time came when Pharaoh had to let them go. Whatever is holding anyone here will let you go by fire in Jesus name.
GOD HAS MADE A PROMISE NOT TO FORGET US
Isa 49:15 KJV Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.
Heb 13:5 KJV Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
HOW TO PROVOKE GOD’S REMEMBRANCE?
1. Remind God of His promises to you as contained in the word
Isa 43:26 KJV Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified.
Our strongest plea is to remind God of His own promises. So Jacob did at Mahanaim and Peniel (Gen 32:9; Gen 32:12.
It is not that God ever forgets any of his promises, but he may sometimes seem to do so; wherefore he would have his people put him in mind of them
2. Speak the word back unto Him.
Isa 55:10-11 KJV 10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: 11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
3. Act your faith. Put the word to work.
Jas 2:20 KJV But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
Jas 2:18 KJV Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
Prayers:
I decree by prophecy this is my season of remembrance, i shall be remembered by men and women
I decree that whatever is making men to forget me be removed totally from my life in Jesus name.
