COVENANT DAY OF LIBERTY-ENFORCING OUR LIBERTY-PART1

COVENANT DAY OF TOTAL LIBERTY

ENFORCING OUR LIBERTY -PART ONE

Isa 52:2 KJV Shake thyself from the dust; arise, and sit down, O Jerusalem: loose thyself from the bands of thy neck, O captive daughter of Zion.

To sit on the ground, to sit in the dust, is an expression descriptive of mourning Job 2:13. Jerusalem is here called on to arise and shake off the dust, as indicating that the days of her grief were ended

The captive daughter of Zion, therefore, brought down to the dust of suffering and oppression, is commanded to arise and shake herself from that dust, and then, with grace, and dignity, and composure, and security, to sit down; to take, as it were, again her seat and her rank, amid the company of the nations of the earth,

But before she could sit on her throne again, there is one particular thing she must do. What is it?

Loose thyself from the bands of thy neck – Jerusalem had been a captive, and confined as a prisoner. She is now called on to cast off these chains from her neck, and to be again at liberty

As I studied the place I was looking for the means by which the prophet wanted the daughter of Zion to use in order to free herself but I found none. No one was called upon to set her free but she had to do it by herself. How will she do it? The prophet did not give her method of instructions on how this would be done.

I checked other places in the Bible to find out the experience of similar people that were bound, in captivity and chained down and see how they were delivered from their chains.

Samson had intended and actually married a lady but due to what happened during the bride payment, he left in anger and his wife was given to his best man.

Whatever belongs to you, another shall not take it in Jesus name.

On returning back, he burnt the farm land of Philistine, they too killed the lady and his father. Samson heard of it and killed them too. Then the Philistines gathered against him to bind him. The children of Judah went to bind Samson to deliver him to the Philistine. This is what happened when they brought Samson:

Jdg 15:13-14 KJV 13 And they spoke unto him, saying, No; but we will bind thee fast, and deliver thee into their hand: but surely we will not kill thee. And they bound him with two new cords, and brought him up from the rock. 14 And when he came unto Lehi, the Philistines shouted against him: and the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and the cords that were upon his arms became as flax that was burnt with fire, and his bands loosed from off his hands.

The Bible says the cords broke off when the Spirit came upon him. This tells me that the Spirit of God has the ability to break yokes.

At other occasion when Samson was bound again, similar things happened:

Jdg 16:9 KJV Now there were men lying in wait, abiding with her in the chamber. And she said unto him, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And he brake the withs, as a thread of tow is broken when it toucheth the fire. So his strength was not known.

Jdg 16:12 KJV Delilah therefore took new ropes, and bound him therewith, and said unto him, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And there were liers in wait abiding in the chamber. And he brake them from off his arms like a thread.

Each time they bound him, the Spirit came upon him and the bond would be broken. This is what I have been seeking for. The prophet has said this:

Zec 4:6 KJV Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.

Whenever a person is bound and the Holy Spirit steps in, the yoke is always broken.

So what the daughter of Zion would use or needed is the Spirit of God in order to free herself from the captivity.

There are many people that move around but one way or the other are bound with invisible shackles and chains. Some are not directly bound but things around them are bound, walls are mounted around them, they cant move forward. They can be born again, tongue speaking and yet be experiencing this. Job said something:

Job 19:8 KJV He hath fenced up my way that I cannot pass, and he hath set darkness in my paths.

The Hebrew word used for “fensed up” is “gadar”. It means to wall up, wall off, close off, build a wall, to wall up, shut off.

A man can be walled up from his helpers, potential business, marital and destiny helpers.

My testimony.

Here is the good news that a born again child of God od had been redeemed from the captivity of sin, Satan and the world.

How can a believer be subjected to bondage?

1. Association with demonic objects, visiting native doctors, consulting necromancers, occultic practices, participating in evil covenant, participating in evil village rituals, palm reading. Etc.

1Co 10:20-21 KJV 20 But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils. 21 Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils.

Deu 18:10-11 KJV 10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, 11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.

2.. Disobedience to the known will of God which is sin. Sin creates access for the devil to come into our lives to steal, kill and destroy John 10:10.

Rom 6:16 KJV Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

3. Self inflicted curses or wrong words

Pro 6:2 KJV Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth.

Mat 12:37 KJV For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. The things you said to yourself or allow others to speak against you without countering i, and it become established.

4. Spiritual laxity, indifference and negligence of fellowship, prayers and the word will make us to be spiritually weak and vulnerable to the attack of the devil.

5. Activities of evil men and women, village people

How do we now set ourselves free?

We can be delivered totally based on these premises: These are the things that give us what they call in law, locus standi that is the ground on which we can base our case.

1. There is a law of exemption.

Psa 105:14-15 KJV 14 He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes; 15 Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.

2. Knowing fully well and being persuaded that the price of our total liberty has been paid in full.

Eph 1:7 KJV In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

  • He delivered us from Sin, death, Satan, law and the world.

Col 1:12-13 KJV 12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: 13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

  • Jewish tradition, ceremonials, rituals, sacrifice, feasts which were bondage that Peter said they were burdened with.

Gal 5:1 KJV Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

  • Delivered from sin and its condemnation, judgement, punishment

Rom 6:18 KJV Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

  • He delivered us from the curse of the law

Gal 3:13-14 KJV 13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

  • Jesus shed His blood. Each place He shed His blood was for our redemption. From

His head when sweat mixed with blood in the Garden of Gethsemane was for our deliverance  from sweat labour

His head (crown of thorns for healing our minds),

His back (from the scourging for healing of our bodies and breaking curses of sickness),

His hands (for breaking curse of poverty)

His feet (pierced by nails for restoring our dominion and ability to walk with God),

His side (pierced by a spear for healing our spiritual and emotional brokenness),

Heb 2:14-15 KJV 14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; 15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

Ignorance of the finished work of Christ

However, many don’t know or are not aware of what Christ has done for them. Many that seemed to know are not doing anything probably they think it will automatically work itself out.

Emancipation story of American slaves.

The emancipation proclamation was an executive order by US president Abraham Lincoln on Jan 1, 1863 that all enslaved people in confederation states at war with the Union were to be freed.

Hos 4:6 KJV My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

2. We are anointed already as believers.

The good news is that we are better off than Samson. The anointing comes upon Samson for those special feats but as believers, He is constantly resident in us at all times.

Joh 14:16 KJV And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

1Jn 2:20 KJV But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.

1Jn 2:27 KJV But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

So what will deliver us if we discover that we are bound or fenced up like JOb is to work out the anointing. When the Holy Spirit comes on us no yoke can stand and no fence can stand.

Isa 10:27 KJV And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.

Isa 10:27 ASV And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall depart from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed by reason of fatness.

Not by the anointing but because of the anointing. Big difference. that the yoke itself will snap, from the pressure of his fat strong neck against it.

How does this ability come to us?

I wanted to know how the Spirit or the anointing comes on Samson so that anytime he was bound, the yokes would just break. What steps of methodology does he apply to bring on the anointing?

Let’s go back to the account when Delilah had shaved his head and the Philistines were coming to take him. This is what Samson said:

Jdg 16:20 KJV And she said, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And he awoke out of his sleep, and said, I will go out as at other times before, and shake myself. And he wist not that the LORD was departed from him.

In order words when Samson wants to effect the anointing, he would possibly shake himself. How do I know this?

The Hebrew word they used for “shake” is “naar”

Phonetic: naw-ar’

to shake, shake out or off. Through the idea of the rustling of mane, which usually accompanies the lion’s roar. The mane is the longer hair growth around the head of male lions. So when a lion wants to roar, the first thing he does is to shake that long hair.

So when Samson shakes that long braid on his head, the power of the Holy Spirit comes upon him.

How do we relate to this in the New Testament? This is what Paul said:

1Co 14:4 KJV He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church.

Jud 1:20 KJV But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,

Paul advised Timothy along this line

1Ti 4:14 KJV Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.

What should Timothy do? Bible answers and interprets the Bible

2Ti 1:6 KJV Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.

So when we speak in other tongue, which is similar to to the “shaking” of Samson, we stir up ourselves, we build up ourselves, the abilities, power, grace comes from the inside to us on outside to effects the breaking of yokes, invisible shackles, impossibilities, challenges. This is self deliverance. The yokes begin to break not by anointing but because of the anointing that is on you. It can’t stand the anointing.

It is on the basis that we can effect our liberty, we have been set free and Satan has no right to put shackles or chains on us. I refused to carry it.
