2025 – MY YEAR OF DIVINE MOTION
YEAR 2025 MY YEAR OF DIVINE MOTION
Mat 14:22-32 KJV 22 And straightway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away. 23 And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone. 24 But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary. 25 And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea. 26 And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear. 27 But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. 28 And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. 29 And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. 30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. 31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? 32 And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.
Joh 6:15-21 KJV 15 When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone. 16 And when even was now come, his disciples went down unto the sea, 17 And entered into a ship, and went over the sea toward Capernaum. And it was now dark, and Jesus was not come to them. 18 And the sea arose by reason of a great wind that blew. 19 So when they had rowed about five and twenty or thirty furlongs, they see Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing nigh unto the ship: and they were afraid. 20 But he saith unto them, It is I; be not afraid. 21 Then they willingly received him into the ship: and immediately the ship was at the land whither they went.
This account was recorded by all the Gospels evangelists. Jesus had performed so many miracles that people wanted to make Him king but went into the mountain to pray while he asked the disciples to board the boat to the other side.
Mar 6:48-49 KJV 48 And he saw them toiling in rowing; for the wind was contrary unto them: and about the fourth watch of the night he cometh unto them, walking upon the sea, and would have passed by them. 49 But when they saw him walking upon the sea, they supposed it had been a spirit, and cried out:
The Greek rendition ought to be “having seen them travailing” He was on top of the mountain, there was darkness and they were already out in the sea, so how was He able to see them? He saw them with the eyes of the Spirit, He knew what was happening to them. Most people think that God has forgotten us in our troubles but He is aware. he perceived in his Spirit, he knew, by virtue of his omniscience as God, what distress his disciples were in; being tossed about with the waves of the sea, and were labouring with all their might and main against the wind: and were vexed and tortured, as the word signifies
The fourth watch, reckoning from six P.M., would be three o’clock in the morning. “So when they had rowed about five and twenty or thirty furlongs” (Joh 6:19) —rather more than halfway across. The lake is about seven miles broad at its widest part. So that in eight or nine hours they had only made some three and a half miles. they took to the vessel was sun setting, or about six o’clock, they had been nine hours at sea, and had got but twenty five or thirty furlongs from shore;
John says they had sailed about 25 or 30 furlongs. About 7 1/2 Jewish furlongs made a mile; so that the distance they had salted was not more than about 4 miles. At no place is the Sea of Tiberias much more than 10 miles in breadth, so that they were literally in the midst of the sea.
While they were rolling on the water, there was a storm that arose and the water entered the boat. They are struggling for many hours. The journey was a very short one but due to the storm, they could no longer move, go backward or forward. They were just struggling.
The Bible says at the third hour of the night which corresponds to our own 6 am, Jesus saw them toiling hard and wanted to come and help them
That passage said He was going to them and yet He wanted to pass by. I have explained this many times. The help of the Lord does not automatically come to pass. Except we cry unto Him for help. It was when they saw Him and cried out that He turned unto them.
The Gospel writer Matthew says he was walking on the water to meet them. This is a different approach to crossing over to the other side.
In Ex 14 Moses use the rod to divide the red sea and they passed to the other side
Exo 14:21 KJV And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.
In Joshua 3, The priest step into River Jordan to divide it
Jos 3:15 KJV And as they that bare the ark were come unto Jordan, and the feet of the priests that bare the ark were dipped in the brim of the water, (for Jordan overfloweth all his banks all the time of harvest,)
In 11 KIng 2 Elijah used the mantle or his upper cloth to divide River JOrdan for him and Elisha to pass.
2Ki 2:8 KJV And Elijah took his mantle, and wrapped it together, and smote the waters, and they were divided hither and thither, so that they two went over on dry ground.
In 2 kings 2 Elisha repeated the process of using same cloth designated as mantle to cross to the other side
2Ki 2:14 KJV And he took the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and smote the waters, and said, Where is the LORD God of Elijah? and when he also had smitten the waters, they parted hither and thither: and Elisha went over.
When Jesus came to the Sea, there was no boat, He couldn’t be stranded. My Lord stepped into the water and was walking on it. After this encounter you will walk on your troubles, problems.
The same water that disciples were struggling on with their boat, the Master was walking on it.
While He was coming the Bible says the disciples saw Him and cried out for fear. He told them it was Him. The same I am in Ex 2 to Moses.
Peter said if it was Jesus that He should bid Him to come. We should be careful of how we ask questions. What does he want the Lord to say? It is not I. Nope maybe he should have put some alternatives.
The Lord said come and stepped out from the boat. He left others in the boat. They could have walked out with him. They were thinking he was stupid, but Peter walked on water while they were still battling there.
After this encounter the yoke of common struggling is broken in Jesus’ name. You will leave them there. I don’t know what you were battling or struggling with other people, you will leave them there, because the Master is there, you will not struggle with them any longer in Jesus name.
Time will not permit us to talk about how Peter doubted and began to sink but the LOrd rescued him. The Lord will rescue us from all adversity in Jesus’ name.
Now we go back to John. After the Lord rescued Peter and both of them entered back into the boat, something happened.
Joh 6:21 KJV Then they willingly received him into the ship: and immediately the ship was at the land whither they went.
Only John recorde this strange phenomenon and miracle.
Immediately the ship was at the land whither they went; which was done, by a divine motion; for not only the wind ceased, but another miracle was wrought; the ship was in an instant at the place whither they intended to go.
There was instant and immediate relocation. The boat moved from where it was stranded and arrived at where it was going.
This coming year there will be divine motion for you. If you doubt this miracle then you will not believe what happened to Philip. There were precedents.
Act 8:39-40 KJV 39 And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing. 40 But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea.
It was the same thing that took place after the contest at Mount Carmel.
1Ki 18:46 KJV And the hand of the LORD was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.
When the hand of God which is the power of God and the Spirit of God comes on you. He enables you, gives divine speed, divine acceleration, divine invigoration and ability in Jesus name.
When Jesus enters into your boat, struggle is over, toiling is over. You get to your location effortlessly. Whatever you have been struggling to do becomes easier.
Another thing to know was that there was divine compensation of time by that miracle. In other times when they storm and He calms the storms, they went normally with the same speed but here the Master catapulted the boat immediately to where the disciples had been struggling to get to.
In this year they will compensate someone for the time the devil has wasted in your life in Jesus name. I remember a woman who had waited for years but when the fullness of time came without the assistance of medical Science she gave birth to triplets. They had wanted probably three kids but the devil delayed but God brought all of them at once. After this encounter, God will compensate you in Jesus name.
Joe 2:25 KJV And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you
He is not saying He will restore the products or produce of the land like as we read from the story of the Shunamite woman. This one is a restoration of years. May all the years you have lost be restored to you this coming year in Jesus name.
The prophetic word for the year 2025 is our year of unlimited grace. Grace for grace. From one level of grace to another level of grace. 5 is a number of Grace There are 5 graces for 2025. It is therefore the year of multiple grace. You are moving from grace to grace in Jesus’ name.
