WE ARE PEOPLE OF PROPHECY

We are people of prophecy, made by prophecy and kept by prophecy. We are to function based on scriptural prophecy. It is only what has been written that should manifest in our lives. We are prophetic beings as new creations.

Jer 1:1-10 KJV 1 The words of Jeremiah the son of Hilkiah, of the priests that were in Anathoth in the land of Benjamin: 2 To whom the word of the LORD came in the days of Josiah the son of Amon king of Judah, in the thirteenth year of his reign. 3 It came also in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, unto the end of the eleventh year of Zedekiah the son of Josiah king of Judah, unto the carrying away of Jerusalem captive in the fifth month. 4 Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. 6 Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child. 7 But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak. 8 Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD. 9 Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth. 10 See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.

Hos 12:13 KJV And by a prophet the LORD brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved.

Paul said similar things

Gal 1:13-16 KJV 13 For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews’ religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it: 14 And profited in the Jews’ religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers. 15 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called me by his grace, 16 To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:

Paul said that his former life was in Judaism and in it he was very zealous, persecuting Christians. The amazing thing was that he thought he was doing the right thing but when the time came, God revealed Himself to him. He says, ‘ But when it pleases God who separated him from his mother’s womb’. He was called with a purpose.

THE PSALMIST

Psa 139:16 KJV Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.

Here is what the Lord Jesus said:

Mar 9:12 KJV And he answered and told them, Elias verily cometh first, and restoreth all things; and how it is written of the Son of man, that he must suffer many things, and be set at nought.

Heb 10:7 KJV Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.

The expression, “To do thy will, O God” – This expresses the amount of all that the Redeemer came to do. He came to do the will of God:

(1) by perfect obedience to his Law, and,

(2) by making an atonement for sin – becoming “obedient unto death;” Phi 2:8.

Jer 29:11 KJV For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

THE LESSONS ARE:

• Things just don’t happen. They have been programmed and you live it out
• It is either you are living out now the life God had programmed for you or the one the devil has altered.

Our job is to find out His purpose for our lives. Why were we born, to what end? Jesus knew his own

Joh 18:37 KJV Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.

Our lives are designed to follow a certain definite course, route and path

There is what God has planned for you, that at any particular time, where you ought to be, what you ought to be doing and who you should be

At every season of life, there should be those three factors.

WHAT DEVIL DOES

But what the devil does is to alter what has been written, shift the path, and totally change the course of life.

EVIL COMMUNICATION CORRUPT GOOD MANNERS. 1Co 15:33 KJV Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.

He does this through sin, evil practises, immorality, and unbelief. You see somebody doing well and suddenly, the pattern changes. I learnt of someone who packed from a three bedroom flat to room and parlour.

If you find out that things are not happening as expected or going contrary to what they used to be, then some powers are tampering, altering, changing, manipulating, cancelling and destroying what has been written concerning you.

So if you notice such things, what are we supposed to do?

Heb 11:3 KJV Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

The Greek word used for the world is “aions”’ and it means the ages, period of time, the cycle of life and the way things goes with you.

Bible here actually refers to Gen 1: 1-2. God created the heavens and the earth. Everything was very okay until we got to verse two where the Bible says the earth was without form and empty. What happened? Scholars agreed that there was a period of time between verse 1 & 2. So, what did God do to rectify the situation? 

The Greek word used for “framed” is “katartizō”, it means: to render, i.e. to fit, sound, complete, to mend (what has been broken or rent), to repair to complete, to fit out, equip, put in order, arrange, adjust

He said we know that through faith that the aions were framed or katartizo by the word of God. The word kartatizo means to repair, amend, frame. The “word of God” there is “Rhema”, it is different from “logos” which is a body of truth. Rhema is the specific word for a specific purpose at a specific time. 

The Bible gave us the tools to repair the course of life and that is what the fight of faith is all about. The fight of faith is about defending the authenticity of the word in our life and it is compelling our stubborn problems to line up with the word of God.

We can use our mouth to repair, amend, reverse, change the direction of our lives.

Example of Jesus.

There were things that were recorded that would happen to Him and when they were about happening, the scripture was enforced.

Joh 19:31-36 KJV 31 The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away. 32 Then came the soldiers, and brake the legs of the first, and of the other which was crucified with him. 33 But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his legs: 34 But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water. 35 And he that saw it bare record, and his record is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe. 36 For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken.

The psalmist had already prophesied about Jesus that none of His bone shall be broken

Psa 34:20 KJV He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.

Passover lamb’s bones were not to be broken according to the instructions already given.

Exo 12:46 KJV In one house shall it be eaten; thou shalt not carry forth ought of the flesh abroad out of the house; neither shall ye break a bone thereof.

Num 9:12 KJV They shall leave none of it unto the morning, nor break any bone of it: according to all the ordinances of the passover they shall keep it.

Jesus was our passover lamb, and the passover lamb bone must not be broken.

1Co 5:7 KJV Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:

I pray for you whatever has not been written that the devil is bringing into your life shall perish by fire in Jesus name.

There was a time they wanted to push Jesus down from a great height, but because it is not written that he will die that way, he escaped.May you escape all evils in Jesus name.

Luk 4:29-30 KJV 29 And rose up, and thrust him out of the city, and led him unto the brow of the hill whereon their city was built, that they might cast him down headlong. 30 But he passing through the midst of them went his way,

How do you cleanse whatever you perceive has been written by the devil?

Col 2:14 KJV Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

You can clean out any evil that has been written by any man living or dead. You can use your own mouth to alter, repair and amend whatever the devil has damaged.
