THE HUMAN SPIRIT

Hosea 4:6 is a well known scripture to many Bible readers. It says that the people of God perish because they lack knowledge. Under the New Covenant, this lack of knowledge will be a lack of knowledge of who we are, what we have and where we are in Christ Jesus. It could also be a lack of knowledge of what Christ has done for us through His atonement. We can only benefit from the death, burial, ascension and the sitting at the right of God that Jesus did only through the right knowledge. That is when grace can be multiplied.

2Pe 1:2-4 KJV 2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, 3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Paul said the same thing when he was writing to the Ephesian church.

Eph 1:3 KJV Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

All these blessings are in the spiritual form. We have to learn how to bring them from our spirit into our physical life where we really need them. Your spirit is the harbour and reception center of all that God has given. It will do us a good job if we learn somethings about how the human spirit functions.

1Th 5:23 KJV And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The scripture above clearly brought out the three distinctions of humans. A man is a spirit that has a soul but lives in a body. In this article, i will be discussing the born again human spirit.

The spirit

The spirit is the regenerated part 2Cor 5; 17, in order words it is the only part that is born again. It is holy and righteous Eph 4: 24 and it is like the spirit of the Lord Jesus.Your soul is in the process while the body though purchased, we are waiting for the its redemption. Our body will change when the Lord comes at rapture.

Rom 8:9 KJV But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

The spirit is the part that is joined with the Lord.

1Co 6:17 KJV But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

THE SPIRIT IN YOUR SPIRIT

Under the Old Testament, the Holy Spirit comes on the priests, kings and prophets to accomplish things and leaves. They may even lose the presence of the Spirit. He could be withdrawn from them. it happened to Samson and Saul. David repented of his sin and prayed against such in his life in psalm 51. However, in the New Covenant, the holy Spirit comes to abide. The word abide denotes permanency. He doesn’t come and go. Jesus said i will never leave you nor forsake you Heb 13: 5-6; Isa 54: 9-10. When he was promising the Holy Spirit to the disciples the Lord said He will abide in you Jn 14: 16.

Joh 14:17 KJV Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

Rom 8:16 KJV The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

John 3:6 KJV That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

He will dwells in our born again spirit and that is why He is able to bear witness with our spirit that we are the sons of God

1Jn 3:24 KJV And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

The Saviour had promised Joh 14:23 that he would come and take up his abode with his people. John says that we have proof that he does this by the Spirit which he has given us.

John 7:38 KJV He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

The word “belly” there actually means innermost being. The innermost being is the spirit.

John 4:14 KJV But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

The well of water is when someone becomes born again but when he receives the baptism of Holy Ghost, the floods of rivers flows from him which is from his spirit where the Holy Spirits lives. Isaiah had prophesied that we are to draw water from the well of salvation.

Isa 12:3 KJV Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.

THE SPIRIT AND THE HEART

There is mix up in many circles and from many scholars who tend to refer to heart as the spirit. I believe the heart is not the spirit but has the spirit and soul in it. The heart is not completely the spirit of man. However, both the spirit and the soul constitute what we normally call the heart. If you understand all the characteristics that are said of the spirit you will know that it is quite different from the “heart”. Your spirit is born again and it is exactly like the spirit of Jesus 1John 4: 17 and so it can not be polluted or contaminated because it is sealed with the Holy Spirit.

Eph 1:13 KJV In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

2Co 1:22 KJV Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

Eph 4:30 KJV And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

It is the spirit that is sealed and not your human body or your soul. A man can sin with his body and soul and the consequence felt in the body through affliction, sickness, poverty and lack. It can be felt in the mind of the soul through depression. But all along the spirit is not contaminated.

The seal represents authenticity, ownership and security. The spirit is sealed by the Holy Spirit which is also the earnest deposit of the purchased possession. If all these are well understood, then the people referring to the heart as the spirit will have a rethink. You can not educate your spirit or develop it because the spirit is already perfect and is in the form it will ever be through eternity. It is our mind which is the headquarters of the soul that needs renewal and education Rom 12: 2.

Heb 12:23 KJV To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

However the spirit and soul are joined together that according to the Bible only the word of God is able to dissect them asunder. Heb 4: 12.

Heb 4:12 KJV For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

The word will be able to tell which and which is of the soul and what is of the spirit. It is our mind that needs to be renewed, reprogrammed, educated and taught all that is already a reality in the spirit Rom 12: 2-3

Rom 12:2 KJV And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

When the mind is renewed it will line up with what is in the spirit and then the life of God resident in the spirit will flow to the body and outside world.

The mind governs the body but the desire of the Lord is that our life be guided from our spirit man. But we always have this contention between the spirit and the flesh.

Gal 5:17 KJV For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

When the mind is renewed by the word of God to what is already a reality in the spirit, that will be two against one and the flesh will be subdued then and then the life of God in the spirit will flow.

Rom 8:6-8 KJV 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

We are to live according to the dictates of the spirit coming from the Holy Spirit

Rom 7:6 KJV But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

Romans 7:6 (AMP) But now we are discharged from the Law and have terminated all intercourse with it, having died to what once restrained and held us captive. So now we serve not under [obedience to] the old code of written regulations, but [under obedience to the promptings] of the Spirit in newness [of life].

The spirit of man is useful to God

Man is made a spirit being and he contacts God through his spirit. God breathed into Adam’s body lying on the floor and he became a living soul.

Pro 20:27 KJV The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly.

Paul also talks about the spirit of man and the Spirit of God.

1Cor 2:11 KJV For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

1Cor 2:9-11 KJV 9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

I know that many of us have heard people saying, “nobody knows what God can do”. They say nobody can predict God. And some will say “we don’t even know His will and mind”. They have not been reading their Bible because the will of God is the word of God. Often people quoted the first part of 1Cor 2: 9 which was stated in Isaiah 64: 4

Isa 64:4 KJV For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.

Of course this was true at the time when Isaiah was writing and this is because men have no capacity to receive the things of the spirit. They can not receive the revelation knowledge.

1Cor 2:14 KJV But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

The Lord Jesus also said concerning the disciples that they cannot receive all that He had for them because they lack the wherewithal which is the Holy Spirit in their spirit.

John 16:12-13 KJV 12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. 13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

The natural man cannot receive the things of the spirit because his spirit is totally separated from God. The communication that was there in the garden between God and man was broken in chapter three of Genesis when Adam ate the forbidden fruit. His spirit was separated from God and he died spiritually.

When a man receives Jesus as his Lord and saviour, his spirit is regenerated and comes alive 2Cor 5:17. Then what Isaiah said in Is 64: 4 is no longer true of a born again Christian that is why when Paul was quoting Isaiah he added verse 10 in 2Cor 2: 10.

1Cor 2:10 KJV But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

it is no longer a mystery because now we can know the things of God, we even have the mind of Christ and we can receive revelation knowledge from the Holy Spirit into our spirit man. The things that the people of old and in the old covenant can not know we can know them.

As the proverb says, the spirit of a man is the candle of the Lord and it is through it that He enlightens us. We receive communication from the Spirit of God into our human spirit. When God wants to tell you something or reveals things to you He doesn’t communicate with your body or soul but with your spirit. It is your spirit that will now communicate the information to your heart or soul and it will be manifested in your body or world.

The Spirit of God knows all about God so also the human spirit knows all about the man. Verse 10 says the “Spirit searcheth all things, yea, even the deep things of God”

The “S” there ought to be a small letter because it is referring to the human spirit. The Holy Spirit does not need to search the deep things of God because He already knows them. It is the human spirit that searches for the things of God.

How this is applied

LIFE OF GOD FLOWS THROUGH THE SPIRIT

The spirit of man is the reception center of all that God has given to us. God is a spirit and all that will worship Him must worship Him in the spirit John 4:24. When God moves, He moves in the spirit and all that He gives are in the spirit. When you pray for anything, it is first received In the spirit, that is in your spirit. Now in order for what you have received to come into your body or outside world, there has to be a renewal of mind by the word of faith in prayer or confession. Faith is the link between the spirit realm where those things are and the physical realm where they are needed.

When you speak the word of God in prayer in confession, you are at the same time sowing seed. The word of God is the seed.

Luk 8:11 KJV Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.

This word or seed is planted in your heart. The heart is the soil. This is how Jesus talks about it:

Mar 4:26-28 KJV 26 And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; 27 And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how. 28 For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.

The heart is the production center of human beings. Each time you speak you are sowing seed into your heart. The Lord says a good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth that which is good and the reverse for the evil man, he brings that which is evil from the evil deposit in his heart. The heart is the deposit or treasure base.

Luke 6:45 KJV A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

The words of faith you speak does two things: They are renewing your mind and at the same time treasuring your heart.

Whatever is deposited in the heart, and if it is consistent with what is in the spirit and what is in the word of God. It grows naturally and the seed is in itself. The heart will furnish it with all it needs to grow and it will manifest in the outer life. Since what is deposited in the heart is consistent with what is already a reality in the spirit, the heart of man begins to work day and night under the guidance of the spirit of the man to bring it to pass. It will search out the resources, avenues and all possibilities to get it done. Your spirit knows everything about you.

1Cor 2:11 KJV For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

The mind is like a faucet on a tap. It controls the flow. If what is in your heart is consistent with what is already a reality in your spirit, then the life of God flows seamlessly and you receive healing in your body and life transforming ideas for your world. The spirit will rule over the body and gain ascendancy, releasing the life of God.

Take for instance if you confess for a job, your spirit will lead your heart by transmitting the information to your body and will take you to where the opportunity is waiting for you. It will bring you in contact with the right people, helps you to read advertisements for such a job and will do all things possible till the end result is done. The same thing is applicable for marriage, finance, and all things that pertain to life.

When you confess negatively, the flow from your spirit will be stopped, the life of God in your spirit man will not be able to flow since what you are saying is not consistent with the word of God already known in your spirit. However, your heart will help bring those negative things to pass. The heart does not discriminate against any seed. Your spirit is still holy and undefiled. You may suffer untold hardship, failure, sickness and poverty because of your confession that is negative. You still have the life of God in your spirit. The spirit does not participate in those kinds of foolishness.

Take for instance you are confessing that you will soon lose your job because of recession. It will come to a point where you believe what you say and it will grow in your heart. The heart will search for an opportunity for you to lose your job. Either you fight with your boss or arrive late to office, refusing to carry out an important task. All these will be done until what you confess takes place.

If it’s sickness you are confessing or assenting to by listening to bad medical reports, you will be planting the seed of infirmity in your heart and with time you will fall sick. Your heart will bring forth for you what you have planted even though your spirit is holy and pure. You may die of sickness even though the healing power is already in you all the time the sickness is ravaging your body.

Rom 8:11 KJV But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

REVELATION AND IDEA

How could you be confused in life when the Bible says we know all things. 1Jn 2: 20 and that Jesus has abounded unto us in all prudence and wisdom Eph 1: 8. You may not know all things in your physical mind but in your spirit, you have all the wisdom you will ever need.

Eph 1:8 KJV Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;

Sometimes you pray for an idea to solve a problem, in the night your spirit searches for the things of God and gets you an answer. When you wake up in the morning, you just realized that you know what to do. It has been communicated to your mind what the spirit has received from the Holy Spirit.

May be you have come into contact with certain fellows and you just know that they are not what they said they were, it is your spirit that is giving you a nudge and warning because your spirit search out the things concerning their spirit and found them not to be consistent with the word of God so your spirit alerts you. The same way your spirit will tell you of incoming danger and asks you to leave a place. It receives illumination from God’s Spirit.

The Bible records many times that Jesus knows the thought of the people. It is through revelation knowledge and not by mental or brain work.Mt 9: 4, Lk 11: 17

CONNECTED TO THE SPIRIT

Our spirits are connected together to the Spirit of Jesus. All our human regenerated spirit and we are connected to one another. With this we can receive from the Lord. He is the vine and we are the branches. The same sap that flows into the vine is the same that goes into the branches. We have all that he has, praise God. We can minister to one another first through our spirit to spirit which will eventually manifest in the physical.

1Co 6:17 KJV But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

John 15:2-4 KJV 2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. 3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. 4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abides in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

Eph 4:16 KJV From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

We are linked together to form a compacted building or habitation of the Spirit

Eph 2:21-22 KJV 21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: 22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

Rom 12:5 KJV So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

So our spirit can contact other people’s spirit and i can know what is going on around you if you are not sensitive to the leading of your own spirit, i can tell you what is about to happen or warn you of any impending danger. I can also tell you the purpose and plan of God. If every Christian understood this fact there will be less schism in the body.

INTERCESSION

Rom 8:26-28 KJV 26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. 28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

The Lord Jesus is our mediator and in His present ministry, He intercedes for us at the right hand of God where He appears for us.

1Tim 2:5 KJV For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

1Jn 2:1 KJV My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

He is our advocate. The Greek word they used for “advocate” is “parakletos” which means an intercessor, consoler: – advocate, comforter.

When the Lord was leaving He said He will send another comforter which is “parakletos.” What Jesus was to them is what the Holy Spirit is to us today.

The Spirit of God intercedes for believers with groanings that can not be uttered in human language or articulate or previously learned language. When we don’t know what to pray for in a way we should pray or sometimes when the Lord prompts us with a burden or need and we don’t know how to go about it in prayers, then the Holy Spirit intercedes for us. But He will do it through our human spirit. Here is what happens, the phrase in verse 27 talks about Jesus, He is the one who knows the mind of the Spirit and intercedes for believers via the Holy Spirit using the agency of human spirit. you can see the combination of the three personalities. The Lord Jesus, the Holy Spirit and the human spirit.

If you read KJV you will discover that the phrase “the will of” in verse 27 is in italics, which means it was added by the translators, it was not there in the original manuscripts. If we remove the phrase then th passage will read like this:

Rom 8: 27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to God.

What it means is that He intercedes for us the same way if God were to pray for us now. God will speak His word which is His will on us.

This is how the Lord Jesus who is our intercessor makes intercession for us today at the right hand of God.

Rom 8:34 KJV Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

Heb 7:25 KJV Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

What is the benefit?

Rom 8:28 KJV And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

People use to quote this verse whenever evil things happens. When somebody dies in a wreck or when someone loses their business or job, people will say all things work together for good. They either accused God as causing it or allowing it with the intention of perfecting us. But i tell you God is not the author of problem in our lives and He cannot use the instrument of curse and of devil to perfect His children.

What the place is referring to based on the context is that we know that all the intercession that the Spirit makes for us will work together for our good. There is qualification for those that “all things” work together for and it is in that verse: The people that love God and are called according to His will.

SPEAKING MYSTERY

1Co 14:14 KJV For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful.

Paul had said that He that prayed in an unknown tongue prayed in the spirit and he talks to God.

1Cor 14:2 KJV For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.

What he is speaking is a mystery which is known only unto God.

1Cor 2:7 KJV But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

He is directly by-passing his mind but directly communicating with God. Since prayer is two way, as he speaks by his spirit with God in an unknown language or angelic language 1Cor: 13: 1-2, so also he is able to receive answers. Paul ask he that speak in tongues to also pray to be able to interpret. With this he can receive revelation knowledge. He will know what he has prayed for in tongues. It will be communicated unto him through thoughts and by suddenly knowing things.

1Co 14:13 KJV Wherefore let him that speaketh in an unknown tongue pray that he may interpret.

This is a very fruitful way by which you can engage your human spirit. Paul received revelation of the grace of God through speaking in tongues and interpreting it. It is a mystery.

WORSHIPPING GOD

John 4:24 KJV God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

We can not contact God through our five senses. It is through the sixth sense by which we can contact God and that is through human spirit. It is spirit to spirit. John says he that is born of the spirit is spirit John 3. Therefore the kind of worship that is accepted by God is the one that is based on the spirit. In order words it is based on who we are in the spirit and if you want to know who you are in the spirit you will go into the word of God which is the glass. It is what James calls the perfect law of liberty.

Jas 1:25 KJV But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

So we worship based on the word of god, what He has said about us. The Lord said the word that He speak unto you, they are life and the spirit

John 6:63 KJV It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

We worship today under the new covenant based on the word and what the word says. It is not based on feelings but by faith, 2Cor 5: 7.

THE FRUIT OF SPIRIT

Gal 5:22-24 KJV 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. 24 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

Again the “S” there ought to be a small letter because the place is talking about human spirit. It is the human spirit that produces fruit.

John 15:4-5 KJV Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 5 KJV I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

The Lord says we are the branches and you find fruit in the branch of the tree. When we become born again all these fruits are deposited in the human spirit and they abide there. They don’t come and go. Take for instance faith comes by hearing the word of God Rom 10: 17, when the word of God is preached to a sinner, the Holy Spirit imparts faith unto him as he believes, that faith is now deposited in his human spirit for ever Rom 12: 3.The human spirit is always having love, joy, peace and others. you may not feel it but it is there always and it doesn’t fluctuate. it is wrong  for a believer to pray to God to give him love or joy. We already have all these things and it is just for us to learn how to release what we already possessed. They are in your spirit. God has already healed you, prospered you, blessed you and delivered you Col 1: 12-13.

GUIDANCE AND THE GIFTS OF HOLY SPIRIT

The Holy Spirit leads us by the agency of our spirit. He receives from God and passes the insight into our spirit man and it is communicated to our mind.

Rom 8:14 KJV For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

1Co 2:10-11 KJV 10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

The Holy Spirit is able to communicate with our human spirit because they are jointly united together.

John 16:13 KJV Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

We receive guidance and direction via the human spirit. Then your spirit communicates this to your human mind by dream, vision or prompting. He will show us the things to come. You can know all these through the Holy Spirit inspiring your human spirit.

Act 16:9-10 KJV 9 And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us. 10 And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavoured to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them.

Your spirit can pick up signal very fast if you are wel develop in your faith and renew your mind. Speaking in tongues with deep sense of alacrity.

All these gifts of the Holy Spirit enumerated in 1Cor 12, Eph 4, Rom 12: 6 and other places are supernaturally imparted and communicated through the human spirit.

The Holy Spirit will be able to work with the seed you have planted in your heart. He will bring to your remembrance that which you have planted there. If there is nothing planted, He has nothing to work with.

DRAW THEM OUT

We go back to Isaiah 12: 3 where it says with joy shall ye draw water from the well of salvation. I believe that the well here is the spirit of the believer that is loaded with all of God. God lives in our spirit. It is left for us to draw them out. To the degree we renew our mind to that same degree will the life of God flows from our heart. into our bodies and in our outer life. Paul spoke the same thing to the Philippians church:

Phi 2:12-13 KJV 12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. 13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
