You can wipe it off

One of the greatest abilities given to mankind is the ability to write. According to the Bible the laws were written by the finger of God. Moses wrote the first five books of the Bible. Other authors inspired by the Holy Ghost wrote all the books of the Bible. You are on this forum because you can read and write. If while you are writing, you don’t like a part or the whole thing, you also have ability to clean it out. There are cleaning materials available. This is what I will be discussing about in this post and it will bless you richly.

Esther 3:5-15 KJV 5 And when Haman saw that Mordecai bowed not, nor did him reverence, then was Haman full of wrath. 6 And he thought scorn to lay hands on Mordecai alone; for they had shewed him the people of Mordecai: wherefore Haman sought to destroy all the Jews that were throughout the whole kingdom of Ahasuerus, even the people of Mordecai. 7 In the first month, that is, the month Nisan, in the twelfth year of king Ahasuerus, they cast Pur, that is, the lot, before Haman from day to day, and from month to month, to the twelfth month, that is, the month Adar. 8 And Haman said unto king Ahasuerus, There is a certain people scattered abroad and dispersed among the people in all the provinces of thy kingdom; and their laws are diverse from all people; neither keep they the king’s laws: therefore it is not for the king’s profit to suffer them. 9 If it please the king, let it be written that they may be destroyed: and I will pay ten thousand talents of silver to the hands of those that have the charge of the business, to bring it into the king’s treasuries. 10 And the king took his ring from his hand, and gave it unto Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, the Jews’ enemy. 11 And the king said unto Haman, The silver is given to thee, the people also, to do with them as it seemeth good to thee. 12 Then were the king’s scribes called on the thirteenth day of the first month, and there was written according to all that Haman had commanded unto the king’s lieutenants, and to the governors that were over every province, and to the rulers of every people of every province according to the writing thereof, and to every people after their language; in the name of king Ahasuerus was it written, and sealed with the king’s ring. 13 And the letters were sent by posts into all the king’s provinces, to destroy, to kill, and to cause to perish, all Jews, both young and old, little children and women, in one day, even upon the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, which is the month Adar, and to take the spoil of them for a prey. 14 The copy of the writing for a commandment to be given in every province was published unto all people, that they should be ready against that day. 15 The posts went out, being hastened by the king’s commandment, and the decree was given in Shushan the palace. And the king and Haman sat down to drink; but the city Shushan was perplexed.
I have a pencil here, we were told when we were in primary school that in case you misspelt a letter or you don’t like what you have written, you can use the eraser at the bottom of the pencil to erase it and wipe it off.
I also saw many times that when my teacher was writing on the chalk board, he will later wiped the board off when some parts are full and he needed space or if he wrote some words wrongly, there is this piece of wooden log with cloth attached to it and they call it duster.
As we matured into secondary school and colleges we discovered that the teachers there no longer uses pencil or chalk they use markers on white board. But they too needs space or do write some words wrong so they too clean the white board with wiper or duster.
One thing rings in my head that whatever its written can be wiped off and secondly as there are instruments to write there are also instruments to clean off.
In the text we read, in Esther 3:12, Haman got the kings recorder to write the memo that will kill and exterminated all the Jews on a particular day. The king put his approval on the letter and one thing about the policy in Medes and Persia is once the king’s ring or stamp is affixed on a letter it becomes a law that can not be altered again. Haman got the seal of the king on his letter and so the fate of the Jews were sealed. They will all die on the 10th day of the month of Adar.
As we read in the text Mordechai got a copy and presented it before Esther and requested that Esther use her office as the queen to plead with the king.
Est 4:7-8 KJV 7 And Mordecai told him of all that had happened unto him, and of the sum of the money that Haman had promised to pay to the king’s treasuries for the Jews, to destroy them. 8 Also he gave him the copy of the writing of the decree that was given at Shushan to destroy them, to shew it unto Esther, and to declare it unto her, and to charge her that she should go in unto the king, to make supplication unto him, and to make request before him for her people.
People that will champion your cause in life may God bring them across your path in Jesus name.
Esther defiled the rules and protocols and went before the king for her people. The king was surprised such things could be happening that he was tricked into signing the letter. But here is the problem, any law sealed with the king seal or signet cannot be altered. So, even though the king would have loved to save Esther his wife, he is limited and caged by the law that he signed. So what is the way out? The law cannot be altered.
Here is what the king said to Esther in verse and I plead you pay close attention to it. The king told Esther that the only way out is for her to write another memo. He said write ye also. In order words, a memo has been written against you, but you too write. Write whatever you want and I will sign it and seal it with the signet of my ring.
So Mordecai gathered the kings recorder and they wrote their own version of memo, that empowered all the Jews to stand up and defend themselves on that very 10th day of month of Adar when they were supposed to be killed.
Esther 8:3-11 KJV 3 And Esther spake yet again before the king, and fell down at his feet, and besought him with tears to put away the mischief of Haman the Agagite, and his device that he had devised against the Jews. 4 Then the king held out the golden sceptre toward Esther. So Esther arose, and stood before the king, 5 And said, If it please the king, and if I have found favour in his sight, and the thing seem right before the king, and I be pleasing in his eyes, let it be written to reverse the letters devised by Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, which he wrote to destroy the Jews which are in all the king’s provinces: 6 For how can I endure to see the evil that shall come unto my people? or how can I endure to see the destruction of my kindred? 7 Then the king Ahasuerus said unto Esther the queen and to Mordecai the Jew, Behold, I have given Esther the house of Haman, and him they have hanged upon the gallows, because he laid his hand upon the Jews. 8 Write ye also for the Jews, as it liketh you, in the king’s name, and seal it with the king’s ring: for the writing which is written in the king’s name, and sealed with the king’s ring, may no man reverse. 9 Then were the king’s scribes called at that time in the third month, that is, the month Sivan, on the three and twentieth day thereof; and it was written according to all that Mordecai commanded unto the Jews, and to the lieutenants, and the deputies and rulers of the provinces which are from India unto Ethiopia, an hundred twenty and seven provinces, unto every province according to the writing thereof, and unto every people after their language, and to the Jews according to their writing, and according to their language. 10 And he wrote in the king Ahasuerus’ name, and sealed it with the king’s ring, and sent letters by posts on horseback, and riders on mules, camels, and young dromedaries: 11 Wherein the king granted the Jews which were in every city to gather themselves together, and to stand for their life, to destroy, to slay, and to cause to perish, all the power of the people and province that would assault them, both little ones and women, and to take the spoil of them for a prey.
When you read the account you will find out that on that very day the Lord turned the table against their enemies and they were able to legally not only defend themselves but fought back and killed their enemies
Est 9:1-5 KJV 1 Now in the twelfth month, that is, the month Adar, on the thirteenth day of the same, when the king’s commandment and his decree drew near to be put in execution, in the day that the enemies of the Jews hoped to have power over them, (though it was turned to the contrary, that the Jews had rule over them that hated them;) 2 The Jews gathered themselves together in their cities throughout all the provinces of the king Ahasuerus, to lay hand on such as sought their hurt: and no man could withstand them; for the fear of them fell upon all people. 3 And all the rulers of the provinces, and the lieutenants, and the deputies, and officers of the king, helped the Jews; because the fear of Mordecai fell upon them. 4 For Mordecai was great in the king’s house, and his fame went out throughout all the provinces: for this man Mordecai waxed greater and greater. 5 Thus the Jews smote all their enemies with the stroke of the sword, and slaughter, and destruction, and did what they would unto those that hated them.
Under the new covenant, the Lord Jesus did something marvelous for us that change the story of mankind forever. Lets read:
Col 2:14 KJV Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
The Bible made us to know that certain things were written against us, they were contrary to us, and they were not for our advantage or benefits. They were for our destruction and perdition. They were according 2Cor 3 ministration of death.
2Cor 3:7 KJV But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:
The laws and ordinances were contrary to us. They separated us from God because of our sinful flesh we could not fulfill them all as demanded by Moses in Deut 28 that you shall observe to do all the commandments.
Deut 28:1 KJV And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
Mark the word “all” in that verse. If we break one we have broken all according to James 2:10.
Jas 2:10 KJV For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
Because of all these we cannot obtain justification from deeds of the law because the law required absolute obedience.
Rom 3:20 KJV Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
The law offers and shows us our fault, through the knowledge of law our sinfulness and corrupt nature is revealed. We were absolutely destitute and bankrupt.
Rom 7:7 KJV What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.
The law produces motion of sin, it induces us to sin rather than what many people think that the law completely curb sin.
Rom 7:5 KJV For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.
Laws were actually meant to kill us. That will surprised many who give glory to the law as an instrument to help humans.
1Cor 15:56 KJV The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
But praise Jesus forever, the Bible says these laws and ordinances were nailed to the cross of Jesus. When he was been nailed to the cross, to an ordinary eyes, they were nailing only his hand and legs to the cross but in the mind of God because of His great mercy, the laws were nailed too. So now we are freed from the law.
Rom 7:4-6 KJV 4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God. 5 For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death. 6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
Paul uses the institution of marriage to illustrate the deliverance we have from the law. When the husband of a married woman died, the woman is loosed from the law of marriage that bound them together. She is now at liberty to marry another man. She is not an adultereress in the eyes of the law. So also is a Christian, before we become born again, we were joined to the law of do’s and don’ts but when Jesus died, he took the punishment of our inability to fulfil the law requirements having also fulfilled them for us and so the law died with Him. When He resurrected, the law did not resurrected with Him and now we are free to be united with Jesus.
Gal 3:13 KJV Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
The Bible actually says Jesus wiped them away with His blood, just like eraser and duster wiped things His blood wiped away everything so now we can be justified, and as I defined it, just as if we have never sinned, our slate is forever clean. Praise God for ever.
The Greek word used for wipe out is “exaleiphō” and it means: to anoint or wash in every part, to besmear: i.e. cover with lime (to whitewash or plaster), to wipe off, wipe away, to obliterate, erase, wipe out, blot out.
In order words, the blood of Jesus completely erased everything that was written against us.
How do we apply this to our lives?
God has written many things for every individual in this lives. His thoughts and plans were already documented before we were born. His purpose for our lives were already written and sealed. He told Jeremiah in Jer 29: 11. That I know the thoughts that I have towards you. Psalmist says all my days are written in your law. It is my prayer that you will fulfil what is written concerning you. The fulfilment can only be in Jesus. If you have not given your life to Jesus, you cannot discover your purpose and you cannot single handedly fulfil it. You need Jesus. Don’t play church.
Just as God has written good things concerning us, so also the archenemy of mankind writes also. He write failure for success, he writes disappointment for appointment, he writes barrenness for fruitfulness, he writes grass for grace, he writes sickness for health, he writes poverty for wealth, he writes misery and sorrows for joy, he writes breakdown for breakthrough.
And you see these in the life of people. They are fulfilling the plans and agenda of the devil. Even Christians are not left out in fact most times are worst hit by the devil. The devil writes and many Christians because of what Hosea 4:6 called lack of knowledge are cooperating with the devil and are fulfilling his agenda.
How do you correct what the devil has written? With what are you going to erase it so that the good plans of God can be operational in our lives?
Just like the king told Esther, you must write you also. You must rewrite your own destiny. For every damaging things that the devil has written concerning your homes, jobs, career, business, marriages, ministry, you have to write counter statement.
How do we go about it?
The blood of Jesus is still much in vogue, its efficacy has not die, it is still functioning till all eternity, so we need to apply the blood of the lamb, the blood of Jesus to wipe out all that the devil has written against us. Rev 12:11 says they overcame him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimonies.
Rev 12:11 KJV And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
After wiping the slate of the devil, you need to write what ought to be written in the first place. You need to write success for failure of the devil, progress for stagnation of the devil, abundance and prosperity for poverty of the devil as 2Cor 8:9 says that you know the grace of the Lord Jesus, that even though he was rich, yet for our sakes he became poor so that we through his poverty might be made rich. You must know what to write. You must know what its written concerning you as Jesus said in Psalm and Heb that I have come in the volume of the book written of me to fulfil your will o Lord.
Heb 10:7 KJV Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
You must write healing and divine health for every sickness that has written for you as 1Pet 2:24, Mt 8:17 says, by His stripes we were healed. You must write victory for defeat he has written for you as 1John 4: 4 says that ye have overcome them little children.
You can see the importance of reading and knowing the word of God. Why you must not trade anything for Bible study. Because its not your cry or words that will change things but the word of God.
How do you write?
Psalmist says in Psalm. My mouth is the pen of a ready writer. Wao. Ready writer,
Psa 45:1 KJV To the chief Musician upon Shoshannim, for the sons of Korah, Maschil, A Song of loves. My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
I hope you are ready. Your mouth is the pen, the blood of Jesus is the eraser. Praise God everything we will ever needed has been given to us. Job says you shall decree a thing and it shall be established unto you. If you don’t decree, nothing is going to be established positively for you.
Speak your healing, speak your marriage out, call it out as you are doing so, you are writing it, the blood of Jesus is wiping the board of Satan away praise God.
